# Staking During the Stampede, Herd Hub and projects that use Herd Bot have the option of placing bounties to incentivize the communities to complete tasks. If a project using the Stampede feature places a bounty for their community to complete the Stampede. A portion of that bounty is used to buy back $HERD as payment to our project. We will continually use this to grow out our treasury and create a staking platform.
