# Fin ID

Just as you have a unique username on platforms like Instagram or Twitter, Fin ID is an ERC-721 token that serves as a distinctive handle for your account on the Friendly Fins social network. Those with previously registered profiles in Friendly Fins V2 will soon have the opportunity to upgrade to Fin ID.
